For people who like city life and like to feel that they're in the middle of the it, Hotel Colón is the place to be. Just across 9 de Julio-"the world's widest avenue"-from the legendary Teatro Colón, the hotel's suites facing the street provide spectacular views of the theater and the "Obelisco". Also nearby are the iconic walking streets Lavalle and Florida as well as easy access to San Telmo, Recoleta, and Puerto Madero. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the pool on the rooftop provides sweeping views of some BA's most dramatic cityscapes.
