La Rocca Hostel is conveniently located near all subway lines, a few blocks from both the Obelisco and Congresso, and near the Corrientes theatre district. It’s in a traditional old building with high ceilings, high security, helpful staff, laid back youthful atmosphere, and is decently clean. The hostel has many amenities, and features include a 24 hour bar, WiFi, shared cable TV, laundry facilities, small patios, rooftop terrace, parilla, ping pong table, and the promise of a rooftop pool and gymnasium, though these were not yet open at the time of this posting. There are both dorm-style and private rooms, including some with private bathrooms and cable TV. Discounted monthly rates are available in dorm rooms for $165. There are also discounts for students and Minhostel members. Continental breakfast is included.
