V!VA User‘s Description

A versatile venue, Club del Vino is comprised of a restaurant, wine museum, wine cellar and a classy theater that attracts an intriguing line-up of musicians from BA and beyond. On the ground floor surrounding a statue of Bacchus are a number of dining rooms where food can be ordered. The indoor trees give the pleasant illusion of dining outside, and the food– highlighted by fish and Italian dishes–is good. Take a stroll through the wine museum and then stock up on wine under the guidance of the in-house sommeliers. Bottles run from cheap to very expensive, with most of the stock of quality wines around AR$30. Call ahead for schedules, and if you want to get up close to the musicians, reserve a table on the floor. Balcony tables also provide prime views but the sound is not quite as good.

Open: Restaurant: Mon-Sat: noon to 3 p.m., 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.; Shows: Tue-Sun: from 9:30 p.m.
