An affordable and friendly option in the heart of the city, the Gran Hotel Hispano provides clean, simple rooms only three blocks from the Plaza de Mayo. In the same block is BA's most emblematic old-time café, the legendary Café Tortoni, as well as the Academia Nacional de Tango. Rooms at the back of the hotel are darker but quieter, while rooms over Avenida de Mayo can be noisy, but provide views of the never-ending motion that is the porteño lifestyle.
