Villa Crespo Overview

+ Add a Photo

By Caroline Bennett

A pretty middle-class neighborhood that is quickly becoming an extension of super trendy Palermo, and a somewhat less spendy alternative. Though traditionally home to a mostly Jewish community, today expats and young Argentinean professionals are filling apartments, bringing with them a variety of restaurants and shops. Word has it that following the development of neighboring Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood regions, a "Palermo Brooklyn" is bring born in Villa Crespo, though the feel of the place might swing more "Upper Westside" in flavor.
