For travelers yearning for good ol' BBQ pork ribs, Kansas is the place. One of the city's few restaurants specializing in North American fare, some say its BA's sole option for a decent Caesar salad. Huge and efficient, Kansas can seem a bit impersonal at times, but it does a good job of serving up homestyle BBQ favorites. Reservations aren't taken, and it stays very busy, so if you don’t want to wait, try to get in before 9 p.m. The restaurant is open between 11 a.m. and 2 a.m.

For horse lovers

Kansas is next to the Hippodromos Palermo, which is a beautiful venue for horse racing enthusiasts. With a window seat you can watch the horses being taken from the barn area to the paddock for their races. It is not really possible to view the races from the restaurant, but it is just a short walk next door after your dinner.

I love kansas!

I just moved to Argentina and me and my friends always go to Kansas before we go out or after sports for lunch. I love it! Amazing food! I recommend the caesar salad, but the ribs, pastas and the appetizers are also amazing!

if you need a break from steak

It was a great place for my wife to get an American style entree salad as a break from the meat and dairy oriented Argentine food.

We can't wait to go back

Thank God we found Kansas in Buenos Aires. We moved here from Canada 6 weeks ago and I have missed my North American Cuisine so much. There wasn't anything we disliked about Kansas. It's simply fabulous. The ambience, service, food...all excellent. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you...It's a bit of home away from home:).
