University of Buenos Aires Language Labs

In the Microcentro neighborhood, the University of Buenos Aires (known around town as La UBA), offers excellent value group courses for foreigners starting out from the very basics to those who drop the pluscuamperfecto de subjuntivo in daily conversation.

New students should first check the university’s website for the course calendar and next date of registration (inscripción). Classes are capped at 14 students and fill up fast, so show up early to take the level placement test, and come with enough cash in hand to secure a spot immediately thereafter.

Commitment varies from intensive classes running 15 hours/week for four weeks to four hours/week over 17 weeks. Alumni who have already taken a class are eligible for discounts and first dibs during pre-inscripción.
