Almost all the businesses in the commercial district of Once close their doors at night, but the small light in front Bi Won beckons. A delightful neighborhood Korean restaurant, the dining room, although windowless, is comfortably decorated and bathed in pleasant and airy Korean music. The restaurant follows the Korean custom of always serving food with alcohol, so starting with beer or wine prompts the arrival of a smiling waiter laden with numerous small dishes of delicious appetizers. Main courses are almost invariably large enough to split–an AR$10 plate fee is charged for splitting–and run heavily to soups and pastas which are indescribable and invariably tasty. Meat is cooked at the table and the servers couldn’t be friendlier.
