San Telmo's Sunday antiques market on Avenida Defensa meets its match with this crafts store in El Centro that seems plucked right out of Peru. In a Euro-centric country like Argentina, which embraces native culture far less than its South American neighbors, this garden of artisan delights is a true find. Colorful aboriginal rugs, blankets and pillows, chunky and clunky jewelry, exotic fashions, and sundry knickknacks line the shelves. Deck out your pad with one or two items from Tierra Adentro's wide selection of furniture (couches, chairs, tables and mattresses), pottery and sculpture. It would be a little like decorating your place entirely in wicker, but from an interior-design standpoint, one could do worse.
