Villa Paranacito, though relaxing and tranquil, does have some safety concerns. Most inhabitants live on different canals, so transportation to the hospital and police station is somewhat strained. However, as long as you are stationed at a well equipped hotel or campground, you should have no trouble getting somewhere in the case of an emergency. Flooding is also an issue, but is usually prepared for and well dealt with by the knowledgeable inhabitants of the area. Many buildings sit on stilts in order to avoid any damage.
