Four hundred years of Argentine history are packed into this palatial, reddish-pink San Telmo mansion that is framed by beautiful greenery. Purchased by Italian entreprenuer José Gregorio Lezama in the late 1850s, it opened as a national history museum 40 years later. These days, flags, maps, war artifacts, furniture, clothing, photos, musical instruments, art and various other personal effects are among the memorabilia displayed in chronological order throughout 33 rooms and three galleries. And if that's still not enough information, there's also a massive library with about 15,000 books. An art museum, a research center, a trip down memory lane and a really cool pad all rolled into one.
