The owners named the hostel Art Factory because the hostel combines a soulful mix of arts, style and fun in a huge antique mansion of 900 sq. meters in the oldest quarter in Buenos Aires.

GardenHouse Art Factory is a hostel crafted by architects, graphic designers, street artists, illustrators and open-minded creative people.

Finally the place i was looking for!!

I met so many backpackers who were just a boring bunch with zip-off pants and fancy cameras, but i finally discovered where the real open minded travellers are. This hostel is great! Large, laberythtic, colorful, painted by street artists, graffitis, murals, cartoons...Wow! Its like a street-art museum. I was looking for some different attitude and i found it! The staff, of course, rocks and they organize non commercial and really top notch nightl events such as art exhibitions, movies and acoustic live music. This is not a party hosttel, is an arty and free place to stay in Buenos Aires. San Telmo, by the way, is the best place to anchor your experience.

Funky, edgy, this is a great hostel!

Great all-you-can-eat breakfast with fruits and eggs included, extra-large rooms, super hot water all day long, a colorful setting and artsy ambiance. This hostel with a sunny terrace and a quite functional kitchen is located just a few minutes from everything. It helps that there is also an informed and very, very friendly.
