Rock & Roll! Like the Chelsea Hotel in New York City and the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, this San Telmo bed and breakfast, which wears its shabby chic like a badge of honor, isn't for everyone. It's the kind of place that attracts artists and budget-conscious rock stars worth their weight in hipster cred. The amenities in the hotel's five creatively named rooms (for example, La Traición de Rita Hayworth) may be a bit on the worn side (and what would you expect for between 180 and 300 pesos--or roughly $60 to $100--a night?), but that's the whole point. Haven or hell? Former guests, which include actor Gael Garcia Bernal and dance diva Billie Ray Martin, seem to disagree. But on one point everyone seems to concur: The breakfast, served on the garden terrace or in bed well after when the clock strikes noon, is among the best in town.
