Hostel Nomade II - Hostel Buenos Aires - Argentina

NOTE: This business has closed.

Spacious and exceptionally clean, Hostel Nomade II is the kind of place where one might come to stay for a week and end up staying months. Much more tranquil than its counterpart a few blocks away (Hostel Nomade), Nomade II provides a feeling of family amidst its long, open air passageways, yellow and red-brick walls, and gigantic rooftop terrace (a traditional BBQ is coming soon). Rooms are somewhat drab and dark, but the bright corridors and amicable common areas make up for it, as do the friendly staff and beer-stocked fridge. Eight-bed dormitories form the bulk of the rooms, although a few doubles are available, and there is a small but functional kitchen in the back. Only blocks from Plaza Dorrego, the heart of San Telmo, the hostel is full of living potential, and many of its guests now call it their home away from home. Breakfast is included, but they only accept pesos for payment.
