Set on one of San Telmo’s most picturesque cobblestone alleyways, Flor de Lino is a multipurpose space centered around a vegetarian restaurant. Creative, tasty dishes made with organic ingredients are served while the spacious, high-ceilinged building is used for tango and trapeze classes. Fittingly next to the famous "gay Che" mural, Flor de Lino is gay-friendly and, while everyone is welcome to milonga nights (open tango dancing), numbers of same-sex couples often equal those of hetero couples. Partially dedicated to holistic living, Flor de Lino-far from puritanical-also serves beer and wine and hosts the occasional raucous party. Lunch is also served on weekdays.
