Another block, another parilla that's touted as one of the best in Buenos Aires. So what actually sets this San Telmo eatery apart from the rest? On the surface, not much. You get the same hungry tourists in search of a great cut of meat and a truly local experience. (Alas, they won't find the latter here; it's too self-consciously porteño.) Sports memorabilia covers the walls (this is, after all, San Telmo, just a hop, a skip or a short taxi ride from the La Boca barrio, home base of Boca Juniors, one of Argentina's most beloved fútbol teams) and home-style cooking served in massive quantities cover the tables. At any of BA's three La Brigada branches, the prime selling point is the extensive selection of wine--Malbecs, Merlots, Cabernets and so much more, direct from their own cellar--to boost your spirits and give you a killer buzz. Open Sundays, Tuesdays to Thursdays, noon to 3 p.m., 8 p.m. to midnight, Fridays and Saturdays, noon to 4 p.m., 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
