Although Villa Crespo is the next neighborhood over from the trendy and hotel-filled Palermo, once you cross Avenida Cordoba you will find yourself out of luck when it comes to hotels. The neighborhood has been supposedly gaining popularity and foot traffic as tourists wander beyond action-packed Palermo, assuming the action will continue in some form, but the reality is that Villa Crespo remains a beautiful, leafy, “real†residential neighborhood for porteños that has yet to change in all the ways that are continually predicted.
