Though a small town, Colón is recognized as the tourist capital of the province, hence it has plenty of entertainment to offer. Beginning with water activities that range from going to the beach to practice some aquatic sports to visiting the thermal baths of the city to going on a fishing trip to a nearby island, Colón’s favorable weather attracts tourists looking let their worries float away. Once dry and dressed, head out for a night on the town, which can be as simple as a stroll along the well-groomed streets of Colón to enjoy some ice cream, a good meal at a local restaurant or even tuning your vocal cords to a piano bar. A hop away from Uruguay, this city is worth resting in before moving along with your trip.
