Jesuit Square

The Jesuit Estancias, found two blocks southwest of Plaza San Martín, encompass an entire block allocated to the Society of Jesus. The main offices of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba serve as the entrance to the Museo Histórico de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, as well. As Argentina’s oldest university dating back to 1621, and the second oldest in South America, it welcomes more than 80,000 students. The libraries here boast an amazing collection of maps.
