The Museo Municipal de Bellas Artes is found in an elegant building originally designed with a French theme in the 19th century for Dr. Tomás Garzón, who subsequently left it to the city of Córdoba after his death. The museum was magnificently restored approximately 10 years ago, and is now a must-visit site if only to score an inside peek at the former lifestyle of Córdoba’s rich. It also houses Argentine art from the 19th and 20th centuries.
