In 1891 under a different name the Teatro del Libertador San Martín first opened its doors and ushered in the era of distinguished theater in Córdoba. Located in a beautiful building directly adjacent to the Patio Olmos shopping center, over it legacy it has seen some of the biggest names in music, dance and theatre. With a capacity of over a1000 people it is one of the most important sights for performance arts expression in the country.

Shows are available daily, check the local newspaper. Public tours are available from Tuesday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
