Villa Tulumba, population 1,164, situated in the north of the Córdoba province, seems stuck in the colonial period. Its architectural beauty attracts tourists each year, and a lot of Argentinian families own a summer house here. The main colonial-style building is the church Nuestra Señora, built in 1882, and next to it stand the ruins of a primitive chapel. The chapel hosts the main attraction of Villa Tulumba: the baroque-style tabernacle, made by the Jesuits from the Córdoba Cathedral.
If you want to stay overnight in Villa Tulumba, you will find a hotel next to the spa (balnearios) and a campground.
