Located in the Sierras Chicas at an altitude of 530 meters (1739 feet), the climate of Jesús Maria is generally temperate. However at times during winter (June-August) the region can experience cold, brisk weather and snow in the highlands. Its climate and fertile land make the region of great agricultural value.
