Cathedral - Historical Building San Luis - Argentina

The cathedral is located on Rivadavia 740 in the southeast corner of Plaza Pringles. It was built between 1880 and 1940. It is of some interest mostly because of its onyx fonts—one green, the other gray—that were both extracted from the quarries in the Sierra de San Luis. If you want to sit in on (or avoid) morning mass, it meets on Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m.-10 a.m.and on Sunday from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Entrance is free; the cathedral generally closes its doors around 8 or 9 p.m. Tel.: 02652 - 424414
