The intersection between Av. General Paz and Av. San Martín forms the nexus of Carlos Paz' bustling nightlife. Here among the crowds you will find dance clubs, street performers, restaurants, candy and ice cream shops, casinos, and shows.

Carlos Paz has an incredible number of theatres, which are not just for drama, but comedy, music, movies and specialty shows (“espectaculos”) as well. And this city is certainly not devoid of bars and discos; in fact it has a plentiful supply. Although there are night activities for young and old alike, the atmosphere here is generally considered more desirable for young travelers.
