Climate & Geography
Although it is surrounded by mountains, Villa Carlos Paz has one of the most agreeable climates in Argentina, averaging 30 C (86 F) in the summer and 17 C (63 F) in the winter. The rainy season is between March and November.
The artisan market, Paso de los Artesanos, only operates during the summer. There are two markets, one along the San Antonio river and another behind the Acuario shopping center.
The best time for hot air ballooning is in the fall.
The Argentine Rally, an international auto race, occurs annually in April or at the end of March.
