Built in 1947, famous Hotel de Tourismo has a nice distinctly upper class ambience. In a town like Corrientes where pretty much everything is quite expensive, splurging and paying the extra $10 dollars to stay in complete comfort with a view of the river, a swimming pool and complimentary breakfast might be worth it. Helpful staff and nice location are also a plus.
