The long distance bus terminal is located a bit out of the center of town, but is surrounded by a few places to stay such as Caribe Hotel (Av. Maipú 2596, Tel.# 378442197, Single: $23, Double:$30, Triple: $43) if you get in late and don’t want to trek around searching for a place to stay. Bus #103 B heads downtown from the Terminal. The Remises (unofficial taxis) are a good option simply because they are substantially quicker and the buses can get stuffed with people. A Remis should cost no more than $3 from the Terminal to downtown.
