Transportation

By Katrina McKeever

Puerto Iguazu's international fame keeps it well connected both regionally and locally. Buses run from the main terminal at the corner of Avenues Cordorba and Misiones, telephone (03757) 423006, with regular services nationally to Buenos Aires, Cordoba and Salta to name but a few. It is also possible to get international departures to destinations in Brazil and Paraguay although it is often easier to cross the border and pick up more frequent services from there. The airport (telephone (03757) 420595) has regular flights via Buenos Aires. Aerolineas Argentina has an office on Avenue Victoria Aguirre 295 (telephone (03757) 420168 / 420036).
