In middle to late July Resistenica hosts the "Bienal" Sculpture Festival which is the pride of the city and also internationally famous. Bringing in thousands of spectators as well as amateur and professional sculptors from around the world, the festival lasts for one week and is an artistic melee of expression. Not only is unbelievable art being created moment by moment, but the city throbs with energy from the streets, to the bars, to the clubs and plazas.
