La Casona de Don Jaime

Hostel
La Casona de Don Jaime is a great hostel where everyone comes away with a pleasant experience. The hostel actually has two locations know as Don Jamie 1 (Dorm: $8, w/ air conditioning $10; Pte. Roca 1051, Tel. # 03415279964, www.youthhostelrosario.com.ar ) and Don Jamie 2 (Dorm: $9, Dbl. $25, Trpl. $35, Qd. $45, San Lorenzo 1530; Tel. # 03415302020) which are located about four blocks from one another and close enough to walk to from Plaza Sarmiento. Don Jaime 1 is a bit smaller and shares space with Roots Reggae bar, creating a vibrant atmosphere and access to plenty of drinks and good food. Don Jaimie 2 is a bit larger, has a bigger kitchen, a ping pong table, WiFi access and two nice outdoor patios. Both places have great staff, good vibes and “buena onda.” Complimentary breakfast is included at both locations.
