Getting To and Away

From Buenos Aires, take National Route 3 (southwest), then 226 and 51. From there take Route 76 that leads to the Parque Ernesto Tornquist and Villa Ventana. The trip is approximately 550 kilometers ( 342 mi).

From Sierra de la Ventana, head north on route 72, then head west on route 76 for 33 kilometers (mi). Shuttles run three times a day from Sierra de la Ventana (take the bus in front of the Geoturoffice) to Villa Ventana (stops at Rancho villa). It is around $3 one way, and a 20-minute drive.

From Bahia Blanca you can take a van that goes to Sierra de la Ventana. Vans leave three times a day ($15, 2 hours).
