Uspallata Things to See and Do

follow us

While Potrerillos claims much of the weekend crowd from Mendoza, Uspallata is the true base-camp for mountain activities. Ski areas, complete with beginner and expert areas, operate throughout the winter, while hiking, horseback riding and rafting keep things exciting during the long Mendoza summers. The naturally stunning Puente Del Inca draws tourists year-round, while the winding mountain drives to both Villavicencio and Cristo Redentor are weather-dependent.

If climbing Cerro Aconcagua is on the itinerary, several hikes in the nearby Cardon Del Plata offer a safe place to acclimatize to the Andes’ dizzying heights.
