La Caverna De Las Brujas - Other Activity Malargüe - Argentina

The Caverna de Las Brujas provincial reserve sits 75 km (46 Mi) south of Malargüe. Nearly 6 km (3.5 Mi) of the limestone caverns have been explored, but visitors are only able to experience a small portion of the extensive collection to help preserve the area. Underground water galleries and vaulted spaces are evidence of the strong water currents that formed the caves that occurred at the end of the last ice age. Although most tourists arrive on guided excursions from Malargüe, they are welcome to drive to the location independently after registering at Malargüe’s tourism office.
