Mixed in among the rest of the upscale restaurants near the intersection of Sarmiento and Belgrano, this Italian eatery oozes quiet sophistication, and all at prices a tad bit lower than its neighboring counterparts. Outdoor seating is available, though the dining room, with linen-top tables that wrap around a glass-walled wine cellar, make the inside more enjoyable. Pastas dishes start at $6, with the penne rigatti a la pimiento ($7) among the best on offer. Vegetarians can choose from a variety of salads, which start at $5, and there are a few low-calorie options for those fearing the all-too-common vacation weight gain. The wine list is no grander than others in the area, but is well put-together all the same, with regional wines available from $7 - $20.
