Hostel

By Brian Hagenbuch

Named after the Buenos Aires’ brightly painted Caminito street, Caminito Hostal is a brightly painted, cheery place. Like most hostels, bunks are crammed into stuffy rooms, but a large interior patio with plants, tables and a grill offers respite to the cramped quarters and a place to mix with other travelers. It is located on the eastern edge of town where the nearby avenue leads out to the wine country. Tango and Spanish classes are available during high season and staff can connect you with hostels in Mendoza Capital or Buenos Aires.
