There are numerous campgrounds around San Rafael, but for those looking to rough it, but not so much, there are places like Oasis del Sol. The campground provides bathrooms with hot water, lights, power hookups, telephones, and grills for outdoor cooking. In the hot summer months, there is a large swimming pool and the clear waters of Río Diamante are within walking distance. There are also rooms available in cabins. Guided walks, horseback rides and an on-site restaurant round out the services. Check the website for directions on how to arrive, or ask for a flyer at the tourist office in the bus station.
