Puerto Iguazú Restaurants

Like most of Argentina, the traditional parilla is king among restaurants here, with a giant open-air BBQ a star among the town's distinguished eateries. But for those tired of the traditional fare, a number of choices tempt the palate. From the ubiquitous Italian to the fiesta-themed Mexican and pizza joints, there are no huge surprises here foodwise. That said, the vast majority of restaurants offer good quality, well-prepared food in pleasant surroundings. However, they are expensive.

Budget travelers can pick up groceries at locally owned shops, such as Minimercado Dazú (Av Córdoba and Av Guaraní, across from the bus station), Supermercado Don Pancho (Av V. Aguirre, near Córdoba) and Fox Supermercado (Paraguay and Brasil).
