San Ignacio has lots of camping to help shoestring travelers stay on budget. Most of them are located several kilometers out of town. During heavy rains, campsites along the river tend to flood. Few are open outside of summer.

Campsites down at Puerto Nuevo on the Río Paraná, 4 kilometers (2.5 mi) from the village:

On the road to Teyú Cuaré:
