San Ignacio Shopping - Shopping San Ignacio - Argentina

Along Rivadavia behind the Mission ruins, Feria de Artesanos is a long string of wooden shacks selling stones from Wanda, woven bags, indigenous crafts, wind chimes and all sorts of souvenirs. Most are open only until mid-afternoon, by which time the tour buses have come and gone. Some Guaraní from nearby communities walk into town to sell their creations near the ruins’ entrance. Artesanía Guaraníes has the more traditional baskets, woodcarvings and other Guaraní artesanía (Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Avenida Rivadavia and Avenida Sarmiento, next to the church).

Ferretería Josi has fishing gear and camp stove fuel (San Martín, between Irigoyen and RS Peña).
