Transportation
Resistencia can be accessed by either air or bus. The airport is located 6 km from the center of town and local buses provide regular service to and from the airport. Look for bus no. 3, marked Aeropuerto/Centro, which heads right to Plaza 25 de Mayo. The bus terminal located on Avenida Malvinas Argentina and Avenida Mac Lean is also a bit away from the center, but local buses provide frequent service into the center of town. Taxis should only cost about $2.
Frequent Remis service is provided between Resistencia and neighboring Corrientes and leave from the Plaza 25 de Mayo. The trip should only cost about $1 dollar if the car is full. The 15 minute drive is pleasant and takes you over the Paraná River via a massive bridge. Seriously consider staying in Resistencia and taking day trips to Corrientes, because lodging is scarce and overpriced across the river.
