A trip to the river islands is also a must when staying in Rosario and the isolated beaches, swimming holes and interesting locals provide a perfect break from the business of the city. Probably the best way to check out the islands is to head north of downtown towards Florida. Here in front of the impressive Rosario Victoria bridge which stretches for over 60 kilometers, spanning the maze of islands swamplands and rivers which separate the provinces of Santa Fe and Entre Rios, you can find many a boat to take you to the islands.
