Restaurants and bars are found on Calles Juan D. Perón and Pelligrini. The typical empanada, pizza, pasta, sandwich and meat pattern is pretty tough to break out of. Restaurants are of good value and set lunches are usually inexpensive.
Resistencia's nightlife is becoming more established with every passing party. If you are in town for the weekend, make sure to check it out, as locals as well as fun-seekers from neighboring towns swarm in to get a piece of the action. The most popular spots are located out of town, near Ruta Nicolás Avellaneda, which is the road that heads towards Corrientes.
A Carrefour supermarket is located one block from Plaza 25 de Mayo (Avenida Alberdi and JD Perón).
