Estancia San Antonio invites travelers to come experience the payé del Iberá, the charm of Iberá. This private wildlife reserve is located between Esteros del Miriñay and Esteros de la Cañada del Yuqui-cuá, in the southeast sector of Esteros del Iberá.One way to explore this land is on a three-hour horseback ride through marshes, caranday palm forest and savannah. The full moon night outing activities include watching the sunset, storytelling of local legends, a BBQ and hike or horseback ride. Half- and full-day guided birdwatching treks take folks out to spot some of the 300-plus species recorded in the region.

Estancia San Antonio’s packages include ground transportation in the price of the excursion; boat transport can be arranged for an extra price.

Use bug repellant, long-sleeved shirt and long pants and adequate footwear (boots best). Also bring water. For night hikes, take along a flashlight.

Explore the Esteros del Iberá by boat or horse. Check out the displays and videos at Reserva Provincial Iberá’s visitors center and hike the trails there. Take a buggy ride around town. Drop by the Museo Regional Y Jará.
