Ty Nain is another good place to experience traditional tea service in Gaiman. The teahouse is located in the center of town in an ivy-covered building that dates back to 1890, and is owned and operated by descendants of some of the town’s original Welsh settlers. Enjoy delectable cakes (of which there are seven or eight varieties to sample), homemade bread, scones, and cheeses in this rustic little teahouse as you listen to the melody of Welsh choral music. After stuffing yourself with cake and tea, check out the teahouse’s small museum, which features a collection of various artifacts from colonial Gaiman.
