Las Grutas is a center for artisanal epicurian delights. Centers of production may be toured, and the products bought to take home. Right in town is where the journey begins. The olive oil may be used to prepare the fruits of the next stop, Mariscos Las Grutas, three kilometers (1.8 mi) north of town. A 45-minute tour teaches how this research center raises oysters, scallops, clams and other shellfish. Getting There

Finca La SofĂ­a is five blocks from Quinta (5) Bajada. Los Acantilados is in the center of town, between Bajada Cera and Primera Bajada. To get to Mariscos Las Grutas, take Ruta Provincial north towards San Antonio Oeste; the center is 3 kilometers (1.8 mi) from Las Grutas (bus: $0.60).
