Vuelo Latitud 40 - Other Activity Las Grutas - Argentina

Las Grutas and other beaches along the Patagonian coast are important stopping points for shorebirds who fly thousands of miles between the North Pole and Tierra del Fuego every year. The Centro de Interpretación de la Naturaleza y Observatorio de Aves Vuelo Latitud 40 researches these birds’ behavior and populations, and visitors can learn about them at the interpretation center. Trails lead to several posts from where sandpipers, oystercatchers, plovers and other migratory shorebirds may be observed.
