Getting to and away from Playa Unión
Playa Unión is 5 kilometers (3 mi) from Rawson. Buses leave from Rawson’s bus terminal and main plaza (half-hourly 6 a.m.-midnight, last return 12:30 a.m., $0.60, 20 minutes). In summer there are direct Trelew-Playa Unión buses (every 1.75 hours 7 a.m.-midnight, last return 1 a.m., $1.60). A remis from Playa Unión to Rawson costs $4. The bus / remis stop in Playa Unión is at Rosas and Rivadavia. Buses also pass along Avenida Rawson.
