Ecocentro Puerto Madryn is an educational, cultural and scientific center about the Southern Patagonian oceanic ecosystems. The various galleries teaches the difference between whales, orcas and related sea mammals. Three are dedicated to just the Southern right whale. An aquarium exhibits various denizens of the sea, like urchins, anemones and starfish. Ecocentro also has a fine arts collection related to the sea. The New England-styled building has a four-story tower from where visitors can contemplate the beauties and mysteries of this South Atlantic Ocean, and watch for passing creatures.
