Reserva Provincial Península San Julián - Other Activity Puerto San Julián - Argentina

Just on the other side of the bay is Reserva Provincial Península San Julián. A 30-kilometer (18 mi) road loops around the coast of this 10,400-hectare reserve. Beginning from Puesto El Rincón, the track follows the western shore to Punta Gallows, with views of the city and Islands de los Pájaros and de los Pingüinos. On the northern tip of the cape are Punta Asconape, which has wind and sea-carved caves visible at low tide, and Punta Desengaño. The road then turns southward to Playa Los Instalados, where the annual Torne del Tiburón is held, and returns to Puesto El Rincón.
